EHHYDRAULIC History
The Beginning of This Journey:
From pure trading business to industry-recognized manufacturer
Edgar Hu, our founder, started in international trade back in 1993, right when China was opening up to the world.
At that time, he was helping a major UK client source large quantities of low-pressure brass ball valves, hydraulic quick couplings, and high-pressure hydraulic ball valves.
The problem was quality—products often fell short of European quality standards, and complaints were common.
Then in 2000, some key customers from the UK and USA told Edgar:
“We know you’re honest and reliable—why not start your own factory? We’ll back you up with big, steady orders.”
Encouraged by their trust, Edgar launched our Ningbo EHHYDRAULIC manufacturing facility that same year, beginning with low-pressure brass ball valves.
These first batches finally met the quality requirements, and all our international partners were happy.
By 2002, customers wanted us to expand into hydraulic quick couplings and hydraulic high-pressure valves.
With strong support from the chief engineers of a well-known UK hydraulic quick-release coupling producer (active from 1968 to 2008)—who shared technical drawings and production know-how—Ningbo EHHYDRAULIC spent two solid years on R&D and equipment upgrades, getting ready to produce these new product lines.
Scaling & Global Growth
In 2004, EHHYDRAULIC officially started selling its own hydraulic quick couplings and high-pressure valves.
The idea has always been simple: Designed in the UK , made in China.
Today, we have more than 3,000 different products, and every year we launch new ones that meet the latest market needs.
All our products are made to fit and work just like the standard parts already out there, so they’re easy to replace.
We also keep around $5 million worth of stock ready to go, so we can ship orders quickly.
On the production side, every key step in our factory is tracked and can be traced back digitally already.
From raw materials to the final product assembly, every step is recorded and checked. All processes are traceable and transparent.
This enables us to meet the same high quality standards you’d expect from top European manufacturers.

Edward Hu is the second-generation leader of our company.
He combines strong academic knowledge with real industry experience to help EHHYDRAULIC grow and improve.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, USA (2014–2018)
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, USA (2019–2020)
Role at EHHYDRAULIC (Since 2022):
Digital upgrades: Leading the change to a smarter factory, using technology to improve both efficiency and quality control.
New product development: Driving innovation by blending proven craftsmanship with modern engineering.

Our process employs a triple-stage filtration technology to isolate heavy metal components.
The treated water is sent to specialized agencies for further processing and recycling.
Iron Chips & Swarf Recycling
The iron chips and swarf generated during machining are collected and sent to certified recycling agencies for reprocessing.

-DHL air freight (factory price+DHL air freight cost to your company/warehouse)
In special cases, we can negotiate according to customer needs.
EHHYDRAULIC-manufactured products are warranted to the original user against defects in material & workmanship under normal use and proper installation (see EHHYDRAULIC “Product Instructions and Warnings Guide” document for correct handling instructions) for one year after the date of purchase, or 2000 operating hours, whichever comes first. This warranty will not apply to any product that has been subject to abuse, accident, or misapplication.
We have maintained long-term business collaborations with many of our customers. We always keep our customers’ business interests in mind and strictly follow NDA (non-disclosure agreement) rules.
Our hydraulic quick couplers and valves combine British engineering expertise with precision Chinese production. All products are designed under the guidance of chief engineers from a world-recognized hydraulic quick coupler manufacturer based in the UK (1968-2008).

For all in-stock regular items, no MOQ. Please reach out to us for your specific requests, and we can do our best to work with you.
For all orders under 10,000 USD, 100% payment in advance before production and shipment.
For all orders over 10,000 USD, we accept T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) 30% in advance to confirm the order. The remaining 70% balance needs to be paid within 7 days of B/L shipping date.
For now, all products are stored in Ningbo, China. However, we can setup new global warehouses in the future.
For over 20 years, our factory has maintained a regular inventory valued at over 5 million USD to enable fast and flexible delivery.
For all in-stock items in our catalog, your order can be shipped within 5 business days.
For items in our catalog that are temporarily out of stock or have insufficient volume for your order, the ready-to-ship time is typically 30–45 days.
For items outside of our catalog that require development and customization, the timeline is always case-by-case.
